The Tender Types menu provides the ability to configure the Tender Types in Idealpos that are used for tendering sales on the POS Screen.
Various integrations/interfaces can also be configured to link to specified Tender Types (e.g. Customer Loyalty Points Redemptions, etc.).
In Idealpos v9 Build 13 and newer, a maximum of 30 Tender Types are supported and are configured via Back Office > Setup > Tender Types.
In older builds, a maximum of 18 Tender Types were supported and are configured via Back Office > Setup > Function Descriptors.
Access Tender Types by going to Back Office > Setup > Tender Types.
